Just one big difference here that no one has pointed out and why maybe my set up time is so quick. I don't take roof linings down. I don't take curtains down (they are now on a net curtain wire)etc etc  I put them all in at the beginning of the season and they stay there until autumn! The same with the vast majority of  essential things (no  sky TV etc)  I can put a holdall in the boot of the car for clothes and a box of food and we are away! All so very quick amd easy. This thread made me smile - especially the references to threatening divorce! It all depends on the conditions (of the people, the weather and the ground). Arriving tired on a wet and windy campsite on a Friday evening after a difficult week at work is not good . Arriving on a perfect summer's afternoon, having slept well the night before and anticipating a week's holiday is quite another thing!

What a good idea putting the curtains on a net curtain wire!  I shall certainly try that!  anything to cut down on work for me is good!
