We have just come back from our first outing this year in our Pathfinder (5days at Canterbury Club Site) ...everything works OK and no damp or mould thank goodness!
We were interested to read that some of you have put shelves in to the wardrobe for larder storage etc., but would like to know where you hang your clothes? Also, does the food not fall about when you put the wardrobe down, or do you take everything out? Although there are only two of us, we will be going away for 6 weeks at a time, as we did last year. Obviously we then need quite a lot of storage space and are looking for the best way of achieving this.
We shelved the wardrobe out and use it to store bottles of pop and booze on the bottom and fresh items (bread, veg, fruit etc) on the other shelves. We then use the wardrobe to store the cushions and pillows in when travelling.
I fold the clothes in the large tesco shopping bags (blue things) which are then stored under one of the seats.
I think we are going to shelve our wardrobe out. Currently when travelling it stores the bedding in the top half and the cupboard below has the oven and other bits & pieces, every spare space is filled! When we are away these are replaced by holdalls with clothes in the top and bottles of drink/tins etc. in the bottom cupboard, the clothes could easily be placed underneath the seating area, thus freeing up the top for lighter weight foods etc.. We don't take anythingclothing that needs hanging, but do have a clothes rail in the awning for coats, fleeces and in the summer wetsuits (if we are near the sea).
We use our wardrobe for what it was designed for because the heat from the rear of the fridge travels into the wardrobe keeping your clothes damp free when you put them on first thing in the morning. We store cold drinks under the bed space out sideif no room in the fridge, when you have the side skirts on this acts as a cooler.
With careful choice of what you put in it should make the space usable when the wardrobe is folded down.
I'm planning to do the same!

Me too Glen I got some tonight as I seen the same sort of thing up at sainsbury but cheaper so got them, so I will pop em in when my baba comes out the garage next weekend
Thats what I have in mine. If we are away for the week with the awning they are easy enough to lift out and put outside. I still have room for two fleeces to hang up.
------------- Good friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.
Hi all, a small tip, we bought three cat litter trays, two to put jars, tins, bottles etc on and one for cooking utensils. They stop items falling of the shelves in transit and can be pulled out like a draw so that you can see and get items from the back of the cupboard.
