Hi All,

I just realised I have a 85Ah battery and my charger will only charge a 70Ah. Does anyone know if this would cause any problems? I did try to use it before, but it just seemed to go straight to 'fully charged'.

i think it just takes longer to charge
i have a 85 amp battery and charge it with a 4 amp charger
over 21 hours to charge it !

There won't be any problem other than it taking longer to charge.

There are three reasons it would go straight to fully charged...

Firstly that the battery is actually charged!

Secondly the charger is faulty.

Thirdly the battery is faulty - this is unlikely though.
