Hi all

I have just aquired a 2007 sunncamp 400se, put it up in the garden and its huge, loving it already.

A couple of questions, does anyone know where to get the box's from that fit on the A frame, have bought a few bits and would like a box on the front to put some in it.

And i got a porta potti with it, just bought some blue stuff for the bottom and some pink flush stuff for the top, for flushing. I just looked on the thetford sites manual for this loo and it states "Never add deodorant to the fresh water tank"

Am i ok adding the pink flush to this water, does it mean dont add the blue stuff, as i suppose it could rot bits, basically is the pink flush ok to add to the top flush part.

Thanks in advance.

Oh i have scanned in the awning pole diagram for this TT if anyone wants it. Or does an admin want it to add to the site so peeps can download it. Thats how i found this site, i was looking for it but got one with the TT

Hello Badger

We've just picked up our first TT today and its a 400se.

Now in my humble opinion there is plenty of room in the TT to avoid you adding a box on.

I have already planned to put the following in the TT but i would point out i haven't actually tried it.........

Toilet

Bedding

Towels

Gas bottle and cooking equipment.

I am pretty certain i can get that lot in and if so it will free up an aweful lot of space in the boot of the car.One of the reasons we bought a TT is because of the space our whacking great tent takes up in the boot.

Good luck

Tony

Toilet
We use the Elsan Organic toilet chemical. Same one goes in top flush and bottom waste. Only one chemical to worry about.

Storage box
I agree is you can store stuff in trailer its self you will help to not increasing the nosed weight. Get that wrong and your trailer could start snaking - not good. Store heavy stuff low and central to axle and work your way out with lighter stuff.

Hi Ya

most good camping shops will sell you a front box, we to have the 400se and a front box and yes there is lots of space and the more space you have the more you take with you  . But if you have a 3 way fridge they do take up a lot of space then i do think you need the front box .

                                   cheers Bruce

Thanks all

The front box would be more for the toilet chemicals and bucket and spades and kids toys etc, saves getting the sand in the TT

I'm sure you will have a great time with her and i think the idea of putting sandy dirty stuff in another storage box a great idea...

Hi we attach the skirt will the elastic things you get for pegging down and we put them on the buttons on the trailer that the cover fit on when you are towing and it just sort of goes over the electric plug not sure that helps at all

                              cheers Bruce

 hello

Ours come with front box made by Trigano, camperlands sell them but not cheep at £270.I've read somewhere on hear of people using plastic garden storage boxes from B&Q.

On the second note of the blue cover I needed to know to , so off I went to camping international . They had elastic loops hooked around the locking screws of  trailer legs. Hope this helps

We have a thetford port-potti, dont use the pink stuff, only the blue or green in the lowerone. The pink somehow creates black mold, inside the top tank, then they have the cheek to sell you one that get,s rid of it, when its there product that creates it in the first place, so only use water in the top tank & save you money for w/spoons.
