OK - I think you'd all be proud of our 'camping stuff dash and grab session'. The people who owned the shop weren't too pleased to give us advice as the shop was just closing but we're on a VERY tight time schedule.
We have now purchased:-
two play tents for the kids to use in the awning, 4 large plastic crates £2.98 from Woolies for the food, a camping drainer and stand thingy for washing up (with free bowl!!!!!!!) two sleeping bags, three double duvets 13.5 tog £7.99 each from Dunelm, duvet sets including double duvet cover, sheet and pillowcases £13.99 from Dunelm, a largish halogen heater for those rare occasions we manage to get an ehu, Fabsil for future reproofing and two large chairs which were expensive but if we find the cheaper ones in Asda tomorrow then we'll get those for the kids - I mean as long as WE get the comfort.......NO COOKER - I think we'll make do with those crap disposables and have a longer think about those. Oh, and I ordered me and the hubby a hoody fleece from a fishing tackle firm to enable me to cope with those arctic sessions around the extinguished crap barbie drinking the pink stuff.
Just need a way of paying off the credit card bill now!!!!
