Hi
Took our new pathfinder se out last week for the first time, took us 3 damn hours to get the toilet filled as we wrongly assumed as everything is electric that the water would come from the main water bottle.
We took out the toilet, all the trunking, folded down the back of the toilet than realised....nothing went to it from the blue water feed pipe.
So, I did the same, put some water in it after 100ml of pink sample and it didn't go anywhere. Pulled the water level tube out, blew it, tried to syphon it and still it didn't drop at all, even considered putting something over the top of the filler and blowing it in.
In the end managed to find someone with a 5 year old model and they advised that we were doing it right and simply by adding more water the level stays at the top but pushes it through. Sure enough simply filled the kettle up and poured it in, the kettle emptied, the water stayed at the same level (right at the top) and slowly the water level glass indicator filled to the top.
I do have the filler extension clipped to my toilet waste container (its a small green toilet roll type thing about an inch high) but it wasnt needed.
It may be worth making sure your caravan is level as I guess if you are slightly leaning towards the filler it will be harder for the water to be forced in.
There is a very small image of what you are missing on page 8 (image 3b) of this pdf : http://www.thetford.eu/web/show/file?id=82129&langid=42&contentid=720&filename=TVC_Thetford_Brochure_ENG_final.pdf
Hope that helps, Neil
