Hi, we are looking to buy a pennine clubman, pullman or sterling, can anyone share any info on them? Did any of these models replace each other and what are the differences between them all? May help us decide!
Give it a really good checking over. Make sure that the side panels don't feel spongey, that there is no dusty residue in the storage areas under the seats and around the wheel arches, also lift up the mattresses and check the bedboards, these are the places where damp can be typically found. Look over the canvas and make sure that the awning is with it (these are hard to find second hand) check all the awning poles are there (diagram of poles below)
If you're happy with it go for it, you won't regret it, one of the best things we did, we've had some fantastic breaks away over the years.
A couple of important things to do if you do buy it is firstly join the Pennine Owners Club (cheap breaks away with a good bunch of people) and secondly insure it (discounted insurance is available to members of the owners club)
Good luck and fingers crossed, let us know how you get on.
