sadly the time has come when we need to part with our pennine pathfinder.  Has anyone any idea how much it will sell for. it is 2008 model with full kitchen, bathroom, heating, awning and under bed skirts. local dealers tried to rip us off with an offer so we may have to sell privately. any info would be a great help thanks.

Hi
The dealers always offer a low price. It's the same as when you trade a car in you are better off selling privately. Have a look on the free adds here and see what sort of price other people are asking. Also look on Ebay and see what sort of price your model and year of camper is going for. We have sold 2 folding campers privatly and we got about £2000 more than we would have if we had gone to a dealer.
Hope you soon sell your pathfinder.
Jaymo

We got our FC off the preloved site, I think it has a connection with Ebay, as Jaymo says you can use these sites also to see what other people are asking for theirs.

Hi there,

We are in the market for a FC and as such I feel like I could do Mastermind on some of the pricing! Anyway, I have ( today ) received an email from a retailer offering me a 2007 Pathfinder for £6,999 including extras ie. awning, skirts etc.

The Pennines do seem to hold their pricing very well.

Just wish our budget stretched this far!

Hi

We have just bought a Conway Crusader 2006 for 5,500 from a dealer!

If that is any use to you.  We saw a Pennine Pathfinder at Casey's 2007 for 7995 I think!

Hi,

We've just purchased a brand new 2008 Pathfinder SE from a dealer for 7,995 but right next to it was a 1 1/2 year old one for exactly the same price so dealer price for 2007/8 seems to be 8K ish, sure you would get $7k + if you've also got some bits for it like water carriers etc

"a sad day "

We felt exactly the same when we sold our Pathfinder :)

If it helps, our first port of call was the Pennine Owners Club. Although we weren't members, for a nominal charge they put up an ad to their website, and it sold right away.

There's a few on now

http://www.pennineownersclub.org.uk/content/sales.asp?nId=6

which may give you an idea.

Good luck :)

Use E Bay to do a "completed listings" search.  You do need to be a member, but you don't need to actually sell the thing.  It will tell you how much similar products have sold for recently (in green) or those that did not reached the reserve (in red).

unfortunately its a buyers market ,being early in the year though may find some eager buyers ,ebay (wash my mouth out with soap) will get the most interest but also the most annoying people trying to get you to finish early with some obscure reason only they will buy it because its this or that or missing x or y

We sold ours in 2004, before we'd really got in to eBay. The Owners Club gave us a feeling of security/common interest and all that. It was still a bit scary meeting half way down the M1 and counting cash, but it all worked out.

I've since sold the towcar on eBay and that worked out OK.

The more "outlets" you've got, the better IMHO.
