Hi,

I find that the standard beds on our Fiesta are a tad thin. Was wondering if a slatted base might make a difference. Has anyone tried this (like Camplet owners have). Perhaps the Ikea ones?

Either that or i'm thinking of memory foam toppers like here

Will either of these effect the folding on my Fiesta?

Ahh for a comfortable nights sleep!

Don't know if they will effect the folding, but I'm sure I've seen the Ikea thing posted before and we have memory foam toppers on our Dandy, brilliant! If it looks like it may not fold right with them on you may need to roll them up and store when folding.

I had a piece of foam one and half inches thick cut to size and have added it under the mattress and camper still folds ok

we have a memory foam mattress topper on our Pathfinder bed and it still folds no problem with it on there together with the bedding left in place.

we have the ikea lats in our montana they are good and also help to stop condencation under mattrices

Fitted a bit of 1.5" foam to the fixed bed of our Fiesta. Makes a real difference.

Now have to work out what I will do on the Sofa bed side.

our beds on our TT are now 6+ inches thick ,the beds wont fold with the extra mattresses in so one is put ontop of the folded frame under the cover the other is rolled up and travels in the car

we were gobsmacked at the price of foam but luckily found a set of mattresses at a boot fair for a fiver from a chap who did buy thicker foam ,we also found a thick pair of caravan seats that are now the new seat pillows.
our beds are solid (no slats) and now with the extra foam all the condensation on the boards has gone in the morning (something to watch out for and no doubt why the new versions are slatted)

had a trigano 415 with solid beds and had condensation problems, now got a trigano 575tc with slatted beds and do not get any condensation.

Has anyone else tried and cinfirms this? mkakes justifying it a little easier to swallow? ,many many thanks
