I'm a bit confused whether eurotunnel allows FC's in the tunnel, there seems to be an issue with gas bottles, has anyone had any problems?

you can take gas bottles through the tunnel they just have to be disconnected and you tell them you're carrying them and you get loaded seperately from the main compartments at the back if i remember right so if something does go bang youre not blocking everyone elses escape route

The only issue I know of in the tunnel other than what siday says  is with LPG fuel for engines.  You cannot take an LPG car through the tunnel.

We went last year with a Pennine FC. No problems. You just tell them you have Calor gas bottles like a caravan. They want to look in the locker and check that the bottles are turned off. Thats it. Nothing to worry about.

did you get the tacky orange sticker on your windscreen or have they stopped that now?
