Hi, we have a light board already as when we bought trailer the lights were dodgy, I thought of attaching the board that pulls out from in front of the kitchen and attaching it somehow to the gap end with lighting board then attached to that, sound okay? thanks for replying :)

Its going to free a lot of weight for the stuff I want to take but can't, don't want to overweigh the trailer so thought of removing the kitchen as it has some weight on it and we don't really intent using it as we have a nice wee combi cooker not used yet :)

No, you can't take the kitchen off, sorry. The trailer axle/wheels are positioned to balance the trailer + kitchen...if you take the kitchen off,the trailer will tip right down onto it's nose. The older Conways (which the Sunncamps are based on) came either with or without kitchen and there's a very clear difference as to where the axle is positioned. You could I suppose load all the heavy stuff right at the rear in order to lift the nose a bit, but this will probably be less than satisfactory as to safe handling.

If you're not intending to use the kitchen at all, a better bet would be to look for the model that's designed without the on-board kitchen.

I thought of folding the cover over and securing it with bungee cord at teh box/front end so it would still fit the back properly.

After looking at the 240s I was thinking the lid from the kitchen would do as good a job

I don't want to be nose heavy or dumbelling either, maybe we should just leave it where it is and maybe look for a scrap trailer without kitchen and refit our poles/canvas to it.... sometime in the future :)

we just sold our conway braked trailer to make room for a sunncamp unbraked one, silly us (newbies)
