We have a folding caravan/trailer tent, believed 1970 vintage, and although basically sound it's in need of some tlc which We have neither the space nor the time to provide. Can anyone advise on any forums etc. where we may be able to find a new home for "thingy"? Although we're not looking to give her away, neither are we looking to fund our retirement on the proceeds! Mainly we'd like to send her to a good home so that someone else may share some of the fun we've had using her in the past.
She was built by Trailertents ltd of Irvine, Scotland (sadly since gone out of business) and her serial number is 53/70x. Model name is Spacemaster 428 and she is a two berth with sink/cooker.
Construction is mostly marine ply with fibreglass wheel arches. Roof, floor, end panels and sides to half height are wood with canvas infill on the upper part of the sides. GVW is approx 14cwt and brakes are apparently Morris minor/mini.
Grateful for any advice you can give.
