no dont lock up the zips, just in case of emergency, just fasten the zips at the top of the tent. unless your daughter is over 5ft she wont be able to reach it. If you do decide to padlock just make sure you got a sharp knife to hand. also yopu could fasten a bell onto the zip aswel, that way if she tries to open it you might hear the bell ringing.

thats a good one didnt think of a bell think i will do that someone else said about a fire i never thought of there being a fire

Just a thought , but if you use a bell and it's windy you may find yourself jumping up and down all night.

If you think that they may escape maybe try pegging the zips , so that little ones can't pull them out but you can in an emergency.

Thats another option, im really hoping it wont be windy lol,

not sure if i can get to macro before we go but will definatly try if i can get the horizon cheaper that would be great, dont think we are even going to look at any other tents we have seen it errect and its a great size
