hi all new here so hope all ok and sorry for probably not doing this right lol!!!!

Anyways we are looking at outwell vermont 2009 model as aperantly the 08 model had leaks? and would like advice if it has actually improved and feedback from owners or anyone who knows this tent, how good? ideal for going abroad etc?

Also if we do go and buy, where would the best place be, so far been to yeomans a hundred times to have a look and walk around. My wife loves it but being the price it is, £600 i want to make sure its a gd tent being a novice in this area!!!!!!!!

I really liked the Vermont too, then having thought about it and done a bit of research thought we would need a trailer, as to fit in the car a much larger tent than we have at the moment would be a real squeeze and it all started to look pretty expensive! We have now bought a trailer tent on ebay for £450 (2005 model), which is cheaper than the trailer / tent on their own.

Like Hazey said above try the tent forum though as there is lots of info on there about the vermont - try a search
