have to disagree there Darky was in bank farm last yr and went home after 9 days of 24hr rain.We only live 1hr or so away.
Spent more time in the laundrette drying stuff than having our holiday the day we left there was a family from Scotland 6 kids oldest was 15 and the youngest 7,they had the back and front open on there TT and a stream running through the middle of it.
Thing is they had only been there 2 days so had to stay there the full fortnight cos it was to far to travel home for them. This is going to be the 3 yr so i hope it will be nice for a change.WHERE'S THIS BLOODY HEAT WAVE SUMMER WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE!!!!!!!.

just got back from Abbey Farm - had our first trip out in the Trig.  It was fab - couldn't believe how easy it was to set up and pack down again.  So glad we got it.  Shame we have to wait two more weeks till we can go out in her again.

WHERE'S THIS BLOODY HEAT WAVE SUMMER WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE!!!!!!!.

The truth is  - we just don't get them in this country. If you have a whole week that's dry and fairly warm you're doing well! OH and I were having a laugh about the fact that its been said more and more people have been buying tents this year because of the recession. We were in agreement that more and more will therefore be for sale at the end of the season.

ONLY THE STRONG SURIVIVE!

We are going away this weekend for a week in south Devon.  Really excited as it will be our first trip in our Pennine FC.  Hope the weather will be dry at least, and warmer than on our other breaks this year (keeping our fingers crossed!)

We are off to The Old Brick Kilns in Norfolk on Saturday in our combi along with our friends in their coachman. Have looked at metcheck & the weather seems a bit mixed. hoping for another good break.

Hi

Iv'e been using this board for information for ages but this is my first post.

My OH and son are off to the C & C club site at Burniston,Scarborough next Tuesday.

It's our maiden voyage in our TT.

We purchased it last year - ex demo 6 months old and have had a few practices putting it up and down in a relatives field etc.

I have had some lessons in towing etc so all set to go.

It will either be a great experience or look out for a bargain on e-bay in the very near future!!!

yep thats the one, the site was spotless and had a lovely time but we were pitched on the bit near the reception which although handy for the toilets, laundry etc was a bit cramped really and we felt a bit on top of our neighbours which wouldn't have been so bad had they not have been up till half two in the morning singing etc when we were trying to sleep,  When we go again we'll try to get a pitch on the big field just from a more space angle.

Off to Bude meadows in a fortnight for a family wedding has anyone here been to that site?  I know Bude really well but it's the first time we'll have camped there.
