Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can help, I recently bought a Sunncamp 400se which my wife and I think is greatand we went camping over the weekend with some friends who have a new tent with the nice fleecey carpet, sad as I am to admit it I now have carpet envy. Does anyone know where I can get a fleecey carpet (blue) that is approx 4m x 4m.

Thanks

Steve

It must be contagious.....I have carpet envy too

Have often wondered if you could get one custom made, as all the ones I've seen have been for specific tents, and our TT has a 4.8m bay fronted awning

So far I have an Isabella breathable ground sheet, and a small picnic blanket, so carpet would be amazing... and warm

I shall watch this thread with interest

My husband and I have just returned from our first ever camping trip which was spent in our new Vango Icarus tent. I also wanted carpets in the bedroom and living area but could not afford the proper ones so I sewed four large picnic rugs together and the result was really comfortable. We are hoping to buy a used Dandy Discovery and join the happy band of folding camper enthusiasts oh the joy of not having to pack all that stuff in the car and no more aching backs. We will probably need lots of advice and tips when we take possession so watch this space!!!!

You're on the slippery upgrade slope Valerie. It'll be 5 wheeler caravans next 17

Vango don't do bedroom carpets per se. I got round the problem by scorching our brand new living area carpet, now that does sterling duty in the bedroom 17

We sourced a 2008 carpet from eBay for the living area.

Not a recommended workaround though, due to the grief from the Trouble and Strife.

I think it's world of camping or camping world that sell an outwell one that is in effect to squarish outwell carpets sewn together. We bought one and it fit's our Trigano Chantilly nicely.
