Hi

I'm currently using a 95 Conway Clipper DL but with a growing family would like a larger unit.  Cost dictates second hand and I have seen a couple of adverts for a Cabanon Galaxy and a Raclet Marathon.  Any views on which would be the better unit?

cabanon every time, they sit so well also canvas top notch.

Cabanon supply their canvas to conway so they are very good but I recently got a tt myself and almost got a raclet 1 the only thing i didnt like was the kitchens inside they didnt seem to be as strong and steardy as the others hope this helps

Cabanon is the best but Raclets is an old firm as well and their tents quality isn't bad

Cabanon, quality canvas & everything else. The kitchen is brilliant I've done some complicated meals on that & the Galaxy looks good too.

I guess its all down to personal taste and I am sure Cabanon are good. I went from exactly the same Conway trailer to a Raclet and really love it. The Ten Cate canvas that raclet use is excellent and the fact you can use the cabin without the awning for nights away is great.

I haven't had a problem with the kitchen, infact I haven't had a problem with the Raclet at all apart from the British weather this year. LOL. Even then it sure is waterproof he he.

Whichever you choose enjoy your camping.
