Hi Melbster. This is my first post. I have a Pennine Pullman folding camper. I can erect it on my own. I'm 4'11 and under 8 stone and a woman. So you should'nt have a problem. The Pullman is so comfortable, like a little caravan when opened out. Good luck whatever you decide on.

Seconded!!!!
I love my Combi Camp Easy. I can erect it myself in under a minute without the awning. Spent 8 nights in it last week with all that the weather could throw at us.
It was excellent!!!

I too would look at the Pathfinder. I put mine up on my own usually when wife takes a minute or two to rest - or pour me a beer for when I've finished. i find it easier on my own rather than telling her what to do etc. Plus it has a toilet & washbasin inside which in the middle of the night is a real bonus. Only problem is that when we take our grandchildren they all find the need to go several times just for the novelty - but hey its all part of the fun
When we travelled to Dordogne this year we stopped off just north of Limoge & it took less than 30 mins from start to finish & me sitting down in lovely sunshine.

Hi, we have a conway cruiser, it's eazy peezy to erect single handed as the beds just slide apart. The only difficult part is the awning and our 11 year old helps just to get the frame steady before connecting the cross spars to the camper. The only difficult part is taking it down and folding, it really helps if there are 3 of you but it can be done with patience.
Hope it helps

I'm probably a bit late for this one, but there is no other folder easier and quicker to unfold than a Combi-Camp, just drop two legs, open its top like a pram hood and hey presto its erected.
------------- If if it aren't totally broken its probably best left alone.

It depends on which trailer tent and which folding camper - I've had two different Conway folding campers (Cardinal and Countryman) and two different Combi-Camp trailer tents (Easy and Family) - I could not erect either of the folding campers on my own, but could do both Combi-Camps when solo.

I can't judge your capabilities from afar, you may be particularly small and not have sufficient reach or simply strength etc., but what I would say from years of experience with various tents and now a caravan and awnings (but never personally a folding camper), is that ease of use often comes from technique as much as brute strength. Things like it's often a case slowly lifting a 'sealed' (sewn in ground sheet) flysheet slowly enough to let the air get in rather than expecting it to pop-up with a quick yank, same may apply to your camper.
OK, so I'm a tall relatively strong bloke, but I've erected big tents on my own, where instructions say two or more people required, it really wasn't brute strength, it was technique. My caravan heavy airbeam awning is supposedly a 2 person job to fit, but I can do that on my own with relative ease, but plenty of couples out there who give up and sell them on because they struggle too much, it can only be a lack of technique as they don't seem to suffer any physical incapacity. I've got elderly friends with a catalogue of ailments that should hinder them, but they can erect their awning (it's the same as mine) with relative ease too, it really is about technique rather than fighting it.
Before you give up and sell, try a few more times and try and adapt your technique to find one that works best. Having watched a video of your Camplet being erected, there really didn't seem to be much effort or strength required, the chap in the video I watched was hardly Mr Universe, but he did it with surprising ease, I suspect it was simply that he was well practised and knew the 'technique'. Try erecting with two of you a few times to get the feel of it, once you have become familiar, you may find the way that works best. It's a cost free option, and may just prove successful, if not, then the adverts it is.
Good luck.

Pennine Fiesta 2+2, toilet, fridge, grill, hob. Hot water and heating.
Sleeps 4 easily.
Took me about 15 minutes to erect the unit. You don’t need to put the awning up unless you are staying for a few days.
Nowadays I wouldn’t use the awning, probably get one of those Colman shelters or inflatable.
