Hi, first post here! Recently purchased the above folding camper and was wondering if anyone could tell me where the camping battery goes? Looked all over it and can't see where the connections should be (not that I have a battery at the moment!)
There should be a locking door to the battery compartment on the outside of the unit - on my Pathfinder it is on the same side as the main door towards the rear.
Battery boxes were an optional extra on sterlings as you say on the pathfinder it is obvious.I think if you didn't pay for it there is just a recess in the locker near the zig unit.

my stirling just had a made up lead that conected to the grey plug and then to the battery you just put the battery under the front of the camper not a very good idea I went to my local boat chandler and bought a battery box then fitted it in the front box in one of the gas bottle holders then fitted a grey socket on the front of the fiberglass then you can just plug the grey lead in hope this helps
A zig unit or its equivalent is a box looking a about childs lunch box side where you chose whether to have the charger on or not to use the car or van battery polarity indicator maybe fuses. Usually in the door side under bed locker. They didn't all have them. I would if you don't have it get a dedicated secure mounting for the battery and its leads.
