Hi everybody

We are now the proud owners of a 1995 Dandy Discovery, we have named it Bella!! and we are taking it to Moor Lodge for the weekend in two weeks time. The previous owners towed Bella to Holgates for us as they were going there for a holiday and supervised us putting it up. However my brilliant husband managed the awning himself, with a little help from me.I loved our Vango Icarus tent but feel so much more safe from the elements in Bella. Has any one any ideas about putting curtains in the awning? any suggestions would be welcome. Thank You

Val

When we had 'Doodle' the Destiny, we used shower curtains for curtains they fit well on to the poles and come in all sorts of colours.

Use the wire you use for net curtians. Put the hook fittings in each end and they will loop round the poles and hook onto themselves. Thread the curtains onto these.
Have a look here for more ideas. There are several Dandy forums and blog pageas out there if you search for them.

Thanks for the tips I will try both when we go away for the weekend. We love the awning but found it a bit bare without curtains so I think it will be a case of trial and error.I think this is a lovely forum and feel that I am among a lot of friends whenever I go on.
