In previous years we have amused ourselves playing 'Spot the Folding Camper' while out and about. They are relatively rare even on sites(honest). Cudos being gained for spotting a Pennine and extra appplause for identifying a Pathfinder... I know, we're quite a sad family! This year while in the Vendee, on our main site there were 4 Pathfinders and a couple of Pullmans plus a Sterling - not unusual I hear you say, but this is a small site - if this is repeated in all the sites in Europe - are Pennines taking over the camping world? We were told when we bought our Pennine that there were relatively few campers produced per year and that the retaillers had great problems getting units over their quota.
The final point of interest - on returning home, up the autoroute, we happened to call at a motorway eatery. On pulling into the restaurant carpark - very quiet - apart from ... 2 Pennines - both Pullmans from different years - we parked alongside - who wouldn't?
So.... is there a plan for world domination?
