We have tents at the moment but just come across camp-let which I rather like the look of. I can't find prices online for them and camperlands haven't phoned back yet. What sort of price is a new one plus sun canopy with sides?

Hi I think new they are around 6grand. The canopies are around 200 I think. We r putting ours up for sale, its an appollo lux 12mths old and we want £3200. Can give you more info if you want to consider used. (Genuine reason for sale nothing to do with the tent!)
SGThomas - you're spot on, Camperlands have phoned back and for what we would want it'd be 6081. Only thing is think we'd prefer a combi camp now thought they're a lot bigger...

It's a lovely tent but until the kids are a bit bigger we want the slpeeing pods next to each other. We've had a tent with opposite pods and that didn't work for us - I'm not a good sleeper and like to have the kids near when camping. Sorry esp as we're pretty close to you.

Didn't notice you were in Downham Mkt, small world
I know what you mean. This year, the wife slept with one on one side and I slept with the other on the other side, although my snoring kept them all awake. Our eldest wanted the underbed sleeping tent, her own space, pre teen!
No worries, thought would mention it. I'm sure something will come along
Not sure if we posted reply correctly - didn't seem to go as a reply to your forum (we're new to this site). We have a almost new (only used twice) Camplet Concorde purchased in May 2009 which is obviously in excellent condition - it is presently up for sale both on this site and Ebay for £5,000. Take a look if you are still looking!
It is our 2nd trailer tent. After much research we came to the conclusion that the Camplet is probably one of the best trailer tents on the market. The quality of the tent is exceptional. The ease of the gas pump assistance to erect the tent means it can be performed very easily by one person. The only reason we have decided to sell is that we want a caravan because we wish to do a lot more european touring. Someone who wants a new Camplet Concorde would get an absolute bargain with our tent as it is still almost new, there are many extras including the sun canopy and we will obviously take the hit regarding any depreciation on the price (it cost us £7,000).
Hi there......hope this helps, this is from sept 09:
Apollo models from £4969 to £5940
Concorde models from £5679 to £6420
Savanne models from £5699 to £6440
Royal models from £6479 to £7220.
This does not include any extras, however from now until Jan 2010 there are some good offers on with around £500 off the RRP and a host of extras thrown in for free, spare wheel, alloys, awning carpet, front box, ehu unit etc.
We have been up there this weekend and had a goodlook around, fortunate for us it is only 25 min car ride away, you can order paperwork and a free DVD from there website.
Combicamps are the only tents which manage to be MORE expensive than Camp-Lets for what they are!
Yes, they are both beautifully built and will last a lifetime, but seven grand? Loads of tents will last for 30 years for £3k...
The Camp-Let doesn't go up in 30 seconds whatever anybody says. All those videos make no mention of putting in the extra support poles and pegging it down, which everybody knows is the slow bit.
The Combi-Camps do genuinely go up in 30 seconds and are a great piece of kit but just twice too expensive.
The Raclet Allegra is similar to the Combi, goes up just as fast, has the same canvas (Ten Cate 480gsm), and is half the price. The kitchen isn't as good as the Combi, and the trailer body isn't made out of posh molded fibreglass like the Camp-let, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper and just as long lasting....
Also you could try looking at the Trigano Olympe and Odysee range. I don't know how well built they are but they look really nice and sure are cheaper than the Camp-Lets.
