Hi we are relunctantly going to have to sell our camplet (personal reasons due to my little girls medical conditions) we have only had it a couple of months. Has anyone any experience of camperlands selling used tents for them? We bought it from them as used. Not sure how it works from sellers side though. Have rang a couple of times but had no answer yet. Thought might be less hassle but not sure how much commission they will charge etc? Could try and ad on here but need a relatively fast sale? Any advice or info appreciated xx
Sorry to hear you are selling, we are as well although for different reasons
You could try calling Camperlands, they may know someone who is after one although they will want a cut!
I would try and avoid Ebay as everyone wants a bargain off there and perhaps won’t appreciate the quality of your unit. People who have contacted me about our Cabanon seem to want to compare with older or inferior models from Ebay. I think sometimes people forget just how much you have to pay for a top notch item, as they say buy cheap buy twice! Perhaps put a little notice up in your local Tesco’s etc, you never know.
Good luck, and hope the situation with your daughter gets easier with time
I have put an ad on here and will continue to try camperlands via phone. Wonder how much of a cut they would want? We really like the camplet but we are going to get a tourer (tin tent haha) as I need hot and cold running water and more storage. My daughter has a colostomy bag amongste other issues. We love camping and so does she. Hope we can find the camplet a good new home. And hope you do for yours too.
Thanks for your replies to my posts. I've only started thinking about tt this afternoon and haven't even seen dh to discuss it, have to try and work out if it'll sort my "camping issues" out or not really.
------------- From tents to trailer tents to a tin tent to an air tent to trailer tent and back to tin tent!
Lol, you sound like I did. We went from tent to tt as I never quite took to life in a tent! No probs, hope you didn't think me pushy that wasn't myt intention. Camplets are really good but if you go to camperlands they have th other big brands for comparison. X
We live in Norfolk so Camperlands is not easy to visit, used to live in Leeds, should have gone and looked then! Is there a zip between the 2 bedrooms or is the canvas sewn in? One query I have is in our tent we put the zips to the top to stop the lods escaping at night, though they're not likely to, but looked like we couldn't do that with a camplet

The bedroom pods are next door to each other and zip from the top to the bottom but not all the way around. We put daughter in the side with the sofa so it acts as a bedguard. the door zips to the bottom. I wake up at slightest noise so no worries over anyone escaping! The bedrooms aren't 'inter connected' the space in between the pods can be used to put a wardrobe bar and hang up clothes or store things. Hope that helps? X
Thanks that's a great help and good to know. We bought from them and they said "the seller wants this much" so got the impression they didn't buy them as such. But maybe I got the wrong impression! Will have a look at preloved thanks. Out of interest how old was your camplet? X
I'm sure you will sell it, seems only just lately they are coming up for sale second hand, before that it was either buy new or an ancient one! The ones on Ebay seem to be selling for a good price too!
We just sold our little freedom caravan on here, really quick! (free ads, but picture ones they cost £9.99) Also put it on preloved, costs nothing to advertise, good luck!
