Hi all borrowed one of these lately & now want one so I am watching some on eBay trouble is SAS website just says can be fitted hitched & unhitched some of the adverts say not for use whilst towing i've just done 500+ miles with no dire consequances. You comments are welcome.
------------- If it ain't broke don't try to fix it!
I can`t understand the reason why you would want to leave it on if the instructions say DO NOT use whilst vehicle is in motion.I have the same lock and it takes all of 1 minute to attach and remove.
.....Alan...........
In your own words you said "some of the adverts say not for use whilst towing".
In the event of an accident there could be a likely chance your insurance company may say you invalidated your insurance .If you wish to take the chance then so be it.But for the matter of 1 minute of your time i find it rather stupid. There are obvious dangers for driving with it attached hence the advice.
Okay now we all agree I did the wrong thing I won't do it again. Can anyony say if eBay item 330350335679 will fit our campers with Alko AK10/2 couplings?

I believe this means that you use it when sited as unhitched and use it at motorway services or any area where you leave the van attached to the car and unattended as hitched.
