I'm looking to purchase a 2007 or younger Pathfinder or Crusader for £5,500.00, preferably less. I'm in no immediate rush but would want to have one by March/April next year. We would buy now if we could find what we want at the price we are willing to pay. Hubby also prefers a blue interior/canvas. Would also like the awning and skirts to go with it for this price range. Looked at a few dealers websites but there's not much on there in the 'used' sections. Looked at EB too but not much there either. So - am I asking too much for my money?

Thanks, Lorraine x
Sorry to say but yes as far as Pathfinders are concerned. For £5500 you are looking at the newest being a 2004 if you want a well looked after one that's in good condition. For a 2007 you are looking at paying £7500
Thanks for that Lisa - looks like it's back to the drawing board as I've been wasting my time looking for something that's not achievable! Your cakes look great by the way! But if anyone else reading is selling then please give me a nudge
Keep looking because from October to about February are the times when their at there lowest. There will be a lot of people who bought to holiday at home this year, didn't enjoy the experience, who might be selling. Dealers can afford to keep their prices the same so you may not find a good deal from them.
Thanks for your feedback everyone. Looking today and Reads Caravans are getting a Crusader 2007 in this week and looking to sell on at £6000 to £6500. The lady there says it's in mint condition so that could be well worth a look and a bit of negotiation! Caseys in Cheshire have another Crusader 2007 including all the bits and bobs marked up at £7295 but I reckon they would come down on that. Not to what I'd ideally like to pay but then I would go up to the higher end pricing if the unit was mint. I have to say though that a lot of dealers I've spoken to today had no stock at all. I'm going to bear Ashwellgirl's advice and keep looking as I'm not in any rush. I need to be patient me thinks!
My last Pennine Pathfinder I bought in 2008 was the previous years model with numerous extras that I bought privately off ebay in the middle of winter for £5600! The family had used it for one two week holiday and decided it wasn't for them! I traded it in recently (oonly because they had brought the non canvas one out) and got £1000 more than I had paid for it and had numerous holidays out of it. Be patient. Wait until the depth of winter. £5500 is a realistic price in my opinion if you are in no rush, prepared to travel and are very patient! Good luck!
