Will a 1.6 Ford Focus be okay for towing a Conway Countryman folding camper?  Thanks.

Should be OK. One thing is to watch the noseweight - check up, but I think it's only 50kg for the Focus.

Just checked on the 'net and for a 1.6 seems it's 75kg.  Though (and here is where I look like a mega - dimwit) what does noseweight mean and what is its significance?  Cheers.

The amount of weight you can put directly onto the tow bar Try doing a search on here for nose weight You will probably get a better explanation than I can give Steve

hi iv got a pennine pathfinder  witch is the largest of the folding campers and i towed it with our 1.6 zetec focus estate at 50 to 60 mph with no problems slightly slower up hills  but over all ok .ian plus i did have two bikes on the roof.
