Had our Pennine Fiesta out today to get it ready for the winter. Whilst testing how thick a mattress we could have I folded the off side bed over with the ridge frame connected and bent the pole. How gutted am I.

I have put this up countless times with out doing this. Guess I am on to Pennine for a replacement part. Wish me luck!

PS discovered I can have two 6" thick mattresses 46" x 78" - the hunt starts now!

Sorry to hear about your problem. We had a Pennine. To make the sleeping area more comfortable (there was only 2 of us), we would put one set of matresses on top of the other. Mind you that was in the days when they where just 4 inch thick foam pads.

The best thing about swapping to our cruiser was the sprung double size mattress we got!  Made our 3 weeks away this summer very comfy.
