This brings back memories, we bought and NR Nova in the early 80's. There never were many accessories available for it, and given the age of the TT, I would be very surprised if you can get any parts for it now, unless you have them made for you.
Tent Valeting services will do it, but the cost may be prohibitive. Someone had an awning made for a Dandy recently & I think it was several hundred pounds. Got to question if it is worth spending more than the value of the camper.
Gosh!!!! I think i might leave it, as you say its not worth paying all that money, especially as we only paid 150 for it in the first place. Thanks for the advice.
hi sue ,i think you will find nr made this trailer tent no later than 1995 ,then concentrated on awnings for caravans only, so production of t.t.s stopped .it may well be best to make your own curtains if your handy with a needle and sewing machine ...as the curtains aint great on this unit yes you guessed it we have one as well and not long returned from a super week in weymouth ...wifes now hooked and will upgrade to a folding camper sooner than later, even though the unit is sound enough....
Hi Gerry5, yer decided to make my own curtains and linings as the old TT curtains never did fit properly either, this way we can have them a little wider and they might fit better. We have been hooked on TTs for years now, our other one was a Conway, (also pre owned)But hurricane bill ripped the awning. It was cheaper to buy this one than replace the awning of the other one.
Have you tried contacting NR themselves? In my experience companies which need to have large quantites of storage in the first place are a real treasure trove of half-forgotten spares. Pennine still had spares for a 1981 Conway!
Hi Charlie, I emailed NR components yesterday and have had a reply, He said that NR TTs where made in Germany until the wall came down, as the wall came down, so did their business, so no joy there. Thanks for the info though, it is very kind of you to go to all that trouble.
