I've been watching a TT with a completely wrecked canvas on eBay, anyway with 5 mins to go it was £26 so I bid up to £38 and it finally (not to me though) for £92 Soon after there was a perfectly usable one that went for around £120. What is going on here?????? All I really want is a TT without canvas, but they seem to go for better money than good one

you find sometimes that people will buy these"wrecks" purely for the trailer with no intention of restoration, it can be a lot cheaper buying said trailers this way, your time will come, feep the faith[obe wan kanobe!!!]

That's looking good - no pics, and phrases like "a couple of little holes" and "poles could be welded". If I was after an actual TT I would run a mile.

To buy a sound trailer of the same size as a TT would cost a lot more than £100-ish, tbh. And don't forget, you can often sell the inners, zips and other undamaged parts of the canvas to recoup at least some of your outlay.

The problem has been distance! This was the first one for a long time that was within 50 mile, most of the "cheap" one were miles away. I may have spend an bit more for a reasonable usable one

Hi, just listed a Conway camargue trailer only on ebay selling all other parts seperately as canvas was no good. We are in Midlands though may be able to meet you at a point to exchange. Let me know if its any good as we have listed trailer, bed boards, poles, pup tents, bed tents, mattresse and curtains all individually.
