Hi guys,
Thought you might like to know the Raclet 2010 range is out and ready.
It's a big change this year. Firstly, they are discontinuing the Jasmine/Santale and Globetrotter models - a big pity for the Globetrotter, but it never made the sales here it could have done - and moving much more towards the super-quick erect end of the market.
All the tents are smarter and more modern, and I am pleased to see that Raclet have finally introduced a bit of modern styling into their interiors.
The Solena and Allegra, which are like Combi-Camps without the £7k price tag (or, to be fair, without the lovely kitchens) are in new and smarter colours (the blue and grey).
The Quickstop, which was the rival to the small FC units like the Challenger now has a hooped awning like some Cabanons, but unlike the cabanons it is very quick to erect.
The Safari has the new styling and is available with or without a kitchen unit. In it's guise without it is by far the fastest "trad" TT to put up, and looks much smarter as well.
The new model is - slightly randomly - called the "moovea". No, it's not a TT for cows. It's a bit like the Allegra, except that it doesn't have a fold-over hard floor, it has a pram hood style affair which needs pegging. I don't know the pricing but it should be toward the budget end of the market.
Just thought you might like to know!
Charlie

Hi Charlie,
you seem to be all knowing on the Raclet range ...
I loved the Safari when I first started looking last summer, however my budget didn't stretch that far and I got a bargain 2005 Raclet Minto of ebay (lovely people selling!).
The awning takes a bit of time to put up even though I have colour coded poles and the beds were really comfy but...
everyone laughed at our curtains :-( - apart from our friends 4 week old baby who seemed to love gazing at them?
I took a look at the French website and it certainly looks like Raclet have updated their image, any chance of buying new curtains for a Minto?
Thanks
Debbie
