We used one of those travel pop up cots. Sounds a baby thing, but it's a pop up thing which can be zipped up. We used this up until our youngest was approaching two, then this year straight into a small sleeping bag. Mum slept on one side with one, I slept on the other side with our 4 year old.
Or maybe a normal travel cot
Food for thought?

How far is it to fall off the bed? My son camped his first 2 years sleeping in tents on an airbed, then we got the Dandy. The bed is about 30 cm off the floor. I think I can remember him falling out once. I don't remember him waking up. You can get a single cot side to go on one edge of the bed if you are worried that much

Would the normal travel cot not go in the trailer footwell inbetween the bedrooms, if that makes sence?

We can just about squeeze a Graco travel cot into the floor space of our Fiesta. It leaves enough room to squeeze around the side to get into bed or to get to the kitchen at the front. As soon as little 'un is up the cot is taken down. It also means that we spend most of the evening in the awning. I can't be sure but you may find you have less cabin space in your TT than we have in the FC and a travel cot may cause you problems. It won't be long before she is ready for the normal bed and we thought about a bed guard to keep her in but you might also be interested in this.

You could always try a ready bed, they have raised sides on them as well.
