hi i have a concord camplet and i was wondering if any one has tryed to put in a zipped awning as this would make the camplet more waterproof if this summer is a damp one
I'm not sure how? Perhaps I could have saved myself some money!
Lapping the groundsheet up the sides doesn't work as well when you are using the bedroom annex, and it doesn't keep the streams out of the luggage area!
Ah we didn't have the bedroom annex...looks as though you are stuffed!!
With the luggage part, make sure the flap goes under the ground sheet. That way the stream does not intrude
Not stuffed; wet and caked in mud!! I think it would have happened in any non sig tent, it was pretty awful weather tbh, but I am permanently scarred; well, mudstained anyway!
We do put the flap under the groundsheet, but the water was coming in from the side of the tent, so straight into the luggage store. I had to clean an inch of mud off the flaps on the skirt. I'm giving in to the the great British weather! At least with a zip in groundsheet I can unzip if I feel like it as well.
Ask camperlands to make you a bucket groundsheet.I have a concorde and they are making me a heavy duty bucket groundsheet to fit the awning.Pick it up 1st WK March.
