HI i am thinking about buying a conway cambridge 300 dl of a freind but dont know much about this model. i have had other trailer tents but never seen this one .does anyone know of or own this model and be able to help shed a little more light on this model like wether its a good or bad trailer tent to buy or the upsides or downsides to it anything will be greatly appreciated many thanks
Conway Cambridge was made from 1992-1995 in Green and Grey canvas. 300dl will have a 3 metre awning and a kitchen attached to the back. All Conway kitchens are prettty much the same with sink, two burners and a grill - some may have a tap but I don't think this one has. The awning liner incorporates a wardrobe. You can zip out the whole of the front panel and a sun canopy was an optional extra. If you go on the conway owners website you can download a brochure for the year in question - you may need to do this in a morning as they have limited bandwidth.
One in excellent condition (and there are some out there) can sell on ebay for £4-600 at the height of the season.
hi we have a Cambridge 300dl 1994 and i can highly recommend it, it's really easy to tow. there's loads of room inside the awning and bedroom area the awning roof liner has a wardrobe area but we use it for our porta potti lol.it's easy to set up and easier to take down. there seems to be loads of pegs needed though. it has room for a pod tent under 1 of the beds which we use for storage all in all it's a great tent
The Conway Cambridge is in ideal Trailer Tent, large Awning, 2 double beds, good sized windows, very easy to tow and we have one for sale if anyone is interested.
I had a 240 dl,sage green, perfect tent colour! It was a great tent, just needed to be a bit bigger. So the 300 would be great. A couple of wheels on the kitchen would help, but I dont think you will find better quality than an old Conway. Plus, you can get loads of good advice off the owners club, and spares are easy to find.
