Hi Stewey - Have a look on ebay on current and completed listings under Trailer Tents - there's a few pictures on there. You can also look on the conwayowners website - you can download brochures from there.
I had never towed anything before we got our Fiesta and was panicking as hubby often can't join us 'til later so if I wanted to get away I had to tow it. It was fine. Casey's at Chester had me going round the car park a few times but then I just drove the 20 miles home no problem and towed it loads of times since then and been fine.
You just have to remember to give yourself a bit more space for turning left and I still make sure I don't have to reverse
Something like a Challenger really is very easy to tow - I hardly ever noticed mine was there.
I wouldn't recomment the smaller campers without an awning myself. You'll find you need soemwhere for wet gear and the like. Buying one with an awning will nearly always be cheaper than trying to buy an awning later.
my wife has towed the trailer tent we have and had no problems at all ,she sed it was easy , and when we picked up the conway crusader on saturday I found that a lot easer to tow than the tt. As it's a bit wider than the car you can see it. The only problem I had with it was keep to the speed limit .Maybe your wife could have a go at towing be for you get a FC
good luck Bruce
------------- Beer is the answer...
but i can't remember the question !!!
All-right mate i cant fault my Aztec i bought last year its surprising how much floor space u you get , And they are good for alterations i took a piece from the middle of my kitchen base unit and fitted a permanent table top fridge with a small extension piece both sides brings the sink and cooker up to a nice level ,Also made a new box on front to fit hot and cold water tanks they are ideal to work on , only ten Min's to put up but try and get one with awning have a look on preloved and they only weigh 400kilos max good luck bye
Dandy Dart. Ssme size & layout as Aztec, but insulated PVC so no problems packing up on a rainy day & leaving it wet. Look up Riva Dandy Sales on Google (can't post links at moment I'm on the Wii). Last for ever, mine is 15 years old & has years left in it. Good hunting.
Take a look at the camp-let.I use to own a folding camper and changed to a camp-let.Miles easier to tow ,store ,goes up in no time and the beds are cumfy.I have fridge ,heater electrics, running water and the annexe to house my loo.
Folding camper cabin was nice but the awning was an absolute pain not to mention trying to push it on soft ground.I use to ask other campers to help me all the time, but now I leave them in pease.
