Hi there Scampi,

Let us know where and when you are going out with your pathfinder for the first time could do with a laugh and want a front row ticket. First time out with our pullman trying to look like we had had it for ages managed to put the door facing the hedge with no where to put the awning was told later by friendly campers that they had been planning on going out but decided that we looked like the better bet for a bit of a laugh.

Hope you have a great time

Joy and David

Oh gosh that could be us tomorrow as the wife and I, plus my 84 year old mum in law are going to Beddgelert in North Wales from Great Yarmouth.

The thought of trying to put the awning up solo with two verically challanged ladies is scary to say the least.

Helllllllllllllllpppppppp

Regards from Dave

First time out will be March next year, somewhere in Yorkshire.  Preferably near a camping/caravanning supply shop as it's ten years since I last camped and I'm bound to forget something!  I don't think the Great Awning Show will be until Mayday weekend though - it's a bit of a beast for just a night or 2 (and we won't be camping at Easter as we are exhibiting at the York Model Railway Exhibition)!  It will genuinely be the first time we attempt the thing - we have no grass at home, and no family or friends with a big enough (accessible) lawn to try it out on!!

Happy camping
