I can highly reccomend the Raclet Minto which were discontinued last year but still a few new available for around the £1600 mark. They were made to be towed by motor trikes so are dead light and small, but still go up quickly and have a nice big awning.
Other than that, look for models without the built in kitchen.

Congratulations Debbie! Let us know how you get on : )
I had the same problem/worry, we have a seat ibiza 1.4 and was worrying about it not being aboe to tow, it was a doddle! And you can even move tt's by hand, well i cant, but my oh can! So car should be fine :)
I remember long ago my OH was moaning that he wasn't keen on getting a towball fitted to "his" car. (We only had one car back then.) I booked the car in and got one fitted anyway, bought the TT and told him he could stay home that weekend. What he really meant was that it was too much effort and he couldn't be ar*d to organise any of it. When presented with a fait accompli, he decided the idea was not so bad after all and as the man, he was going to take over 99% of the towing.
