i can get a winter cover made for me to fit a pennine aztec folding camper for £60.00 brand new ..is that resonable

go to your local builders merchant and get some visqueen its thick plastic put it under the top cover making sure it overhangs all sides also  try to have the top cover raised so the water runs off it will not penitrate the visqueen we leave ours on our fiesta all the time works great and cheap

Sounds cheap compared to a Pennine one. As above, put something under the cover to "dome" it. We use a piece of timber to make a 6" high ridge, though others use plastic plant pots or a couple of footballs. Its only to help the water run off so it doesn't stand.

I used to use a tarpaulin purchased from Screwfix for £25 and a coil of polypropelene cord.

A row of plastic milk bottles on a piece of cord and tied to the tow bar and bed support at the back, forms a ridge to ensure good ventilation.

The tarp is pulled down and folded round the doors, wheels and lights to keep the weather out and then tied in place with the cord.

A major bonus of this method is it would take a thief a while to remove before he could pinch it and he has to unwrap to see the security devices.

If the trailer is parked nose down with the struts down, this ensures water drains rather than running into the locker door. It also makes it harder to pinch using a chain and a pick-up truck.
