Hi All this is my first post.

We have just purchased a Outwell Nevada M after 10 happy years with a Khyam Rigidome.

We braved the cold and camped last weekeng for the first time in our new tent.

In the rigidome condensation did not matter as there was no SIG we just took down the innner shook the tent, packed it up and took it home to dry it out under the carport.

We cannot do this with our New Nevada as we will get the SIG and inside of the tent soaked from the condensation.

It was not a problem this time as we could leave the tent up all day to dry out (in glorious sunshine)and decamp in the evening, however I can see it being a problem if we needed a quick getaway after a nights camping.

How would you tackle this problem.

Also has anyone advice for drying out tent without having to errect it, we have a carport that we can hang it out under but it would not fit under errected.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

we used to have a premium outwell tent and the same problem
as you occured mostly when using a gas heater or cat heater or camping in cold weather but we upgraded to a CLASSIC RANGE bear lake 6 and had no condensdation at all.I cannot see you getting round this but heat in tent and cold weather dont go well together in polyester tents only cotton canvas/poly cotton.

We used to have a Vango Tigris 800, it wasn't condinsation but we did take it down damp/wet, at the site we packed in seperate bags and when we got home we unpacked them and hung it over the clothes rope if weather permitted and if it didn't then we hung it up in the garage, and turned frequently until 100% dry, also sometime hung it over the bannister on the stairs but still a big tent to do this with.

This should be fairly common sense for any camper
