We took out TT (Cabanon Saturn) away last weekend for the first time and it was great apart from the beds - they were really uncomfortable.  I have been thinking for a few days and looked at the price of new mattresses but they are stupidly expensive. Also considered airbeds under the foam.

Our little boy is away this weekend and we want to put him into a proper bed now so we got a new bed frame and we had a dunlopillo latex mattress in the loft we kept from our old bed for this purpose as it was so expensive.  It left us with one half of the mattress in the loft. It is half of a superking about 10" thick. 

I got onto a local foam replacement company and they are going to slice the mattress for us lengthways for £20 to make some additional thinner mattresses to go under the ones in the TT.  Should sort it out properly.

I thought I would post as it might help out someone else in the same position.  Get an old latex mattress and get it cut to size. Recyling at its best!!

When we take our saturn and it's just the 2 of us, we take put the two mattresses together. If we need both beds we put a self-inflating mattress underneath.
