We lay the poles out as per the diagram in the manual. Then we zip on the awning & throw it back over the cabin as best we can. Next we assemble the poles & attach to the cabin (they hook onto ours) putting the pole legs on their "knees", drag the awning over them & then lift the legs up, one of us at each side. Ours is quite heavy because we cant take the sides off.
