Well we got down to Cornwall OK yesterday, despite the A38 being closed and having to do a detour to goodness knows where! Got the camper up in about 8 mins flat in the dry which was great. Haven't bothered with the awning at the moment as the ground is so wet, don't want to get the groundsheet covered in mud! Had a wicked nights sleep even though it rained heavens hard during the night and we appear to be water tight!! Hubby just made bacon and egg andwiches for brekky!! Happy Easter everyone, Selina and Richard
Hi say hello to Cornwall for us. We have spent the weekend at Silverstone travelled each day met family there, children and grandchildren. Dry but cold wind. Got to wait till August until we back in Cornwall cant wait. Have fun.
we have just done our first nights in our new folding camper too. It's a pathfinder and by day two we had managed to get all the bits working apart from the fridge. Not sure yet if it is something we have missed or if it is broke. Like you did not bother with awning due to poor weather but had fun anyway.
Hi andcow was your camper level as this affects the fridge, had the same trouble had my fridge checked itwas definatley working so we did not have it level
Pleased to hear you managed to travel so far despite the weather forecasts. We were only able to stay for 3 nights so we went to the Cotswolds (only 30 miles) but had a great first weekend of the year. Only rained at night and managed to pack everything away dry. Some of the caravans were getting stuck in the mud when it was time to leave but but we had no problems with the folding camper.
glad to hear you had a ggod time, we was away for the whole easter period, we had a fantastic time and have booked to go back at the end of the month cant wait.
We have a Trigano 415 DL folding camper and the fridge didnt work for us the first time.It was getting hot at the heat exchanger at the back but not getting cold onside.
The instuction manual sais to unplug the fridge and turn it upside down for 24 hours to get rid of ant airlocks. It sounded a bit drastic but worked for us.I suppose it depends on the type of fridge.
