Well we got down to Cornwall OK yesterday, despite the A38 being closed and having to do a detour to goodness knows where! Got the camper up in about 8 mins flat in the dry which was great. Haven't bothered with the awning at the moment as the ground is so wet, don't want to get the groundsheet covered in mud! Had a wicked nights sleep even though it rained heavens hard during the night and we appear to be water tight!! Hubby just made bacon and egg andwiches for brekky!! Happy Easter everyone, Selina and Richard

Glad you like it, Bacon and egg sounds yummy!

We used to have a conway challenger, the bed was the most comfy out anything we have camped in!

We are off tomorrow for first time in our camp-let, can't wait!

we have just done our first nights in our new folding camper too.   It's a pathfinder and by day two we had managed to get all the bits working apart from the fridge.  Not sure yet if it is something we have missed or if it is broke.   Like you did not bother with awning due to poor weather but had fun anyway.

Hi Selina & Richard

Pleased to hear you managed to travel so far despite the weather forecasts. We were only able to stay for 3 nights so we went to the Cotswolds (only 30 miles) but had a great first weekend of the year. Only rained at night and managed to pack everything away dry. Some of the caravans were getting stuck in the mud when it was time to leave but but we had no problems with the folding camper.

Hi

We have a Trigano 415 DL folding camper and the fridge didnt work for us the first time.It was getting hot at the heat exchanger at the back but not getting cold onside.

The instuction manual sais to unplug the fridge and turn it upside down for 24 hours to get rid of ant airlocks. It sounded a bit drastic but worked for us.I suppose it depends on the type of fridge.

Fridge must be level to work correctly. Nice and sunny at Reighton Sands in Yorkshire at the moment but we are getting the odd shower.

Well done Simbers gang ,now on to the next camp

Is it just me ,but does Bacon and Eggs on a campsite count as one of the many wonders of the world.

We had 7 nights at thetford forest then on to Hunstanton for easter 4nights ,then back to werk for 3 days then up to Pickering for a weekend,

That is a lot of Bacon and Eggs.
