Good Afternoon

Has anyone any experience of the Camp-let side storage bracket, and how you use it,1,to get it on it's side and 2, to bring back onto it's two wheels,is there a video around I could look at or could anyone give me a simple ABC of how to do this.

Best Wishes

Can't find a video, but as you are not far away from Camperlands, give them a bell and see when they are demonstrating flipping the camper.I'm sure they do it at least weekly. I have seen them do it,looks easy but I bet it isn't in real life.

Hi
I took my side storage bracket back only to find out 4 disadvantages

1. You have to remove alloy wheel and put steel one on to use it everytime
2.I will have to take everything out of trailer
3.I will have to take everthing out of front storage box
4.according to camplet instructions you have to remove the canvas when storing on side over winter or long periods of time.

1 advantage is you save space in garage.

With the space you save in the garage you will have to fill again with all the camping gear you take our of the camp-let!

Means every time you go camping or come back from camping you need to empty whole thing/or fill it all back up again.

So really can't see the point of em!

we sent ours back for much the same reasons as above, found it difficult to get up on side. So we cleared out garage to get in in right way up and store stuff on top of it now, and its much easier to get up and go now!

I don't have the side storage bracket so can't really comment, but have a question about them. I've read a numner of comments about having to remove alloy wheels to use it, is the same true if you have steel wheels?

I chose not to have the alloys because I could seen no real advantage to them and instead have a bigger front box.

Thanks for all the above replys,What I'm going to do is, ask Camperlands for a demo, then see If I can use the bracket single handed (my wife has a bad back!) if I can, I'll  then make a video of me using the bracket and I'll post it!

Regards lpp2
