I am looking for a roll up slatted bed base and all i can find is one for over £200 at natural home products. I have a Jamet Jubilee and the bed conversion kit is around four hundred pounds which seems excessive. I kea do slatted bed bases but I am not sure if they roll up for storage. Any advice would be appreciated.

hi make your own cut the wood slats to size purchase some 3 or 4 inch webbing hire an industrial stapler hay presto roll up bed slats

We made our own out of 2x1, sanded the edges smooth and stapled webbing inbetween at 6 inch intervals with a staple gun,so you end up with two long strips of strong webbing with the slats spaced equilly apart that is totally rollable, and very strong. We made ours to fit a caravan though, which originally used to use the table top as a bed base at the time.

Will that do the trick? Ours Jametic has 2 double beds, and its a full frame, with gas assisted struts which lifts and stays up so you can access the storage. It might be worth checking exactly what you're getting for that money.

we had the ikea slats rolled up and worked fine only a tenner
