Hi there
We had the same problem insuring our Trigano Chantilly and eventually got it covered under the all Risks section of our house policy, giving us cover for loss, damage or theft within the E.U. plus automatic worldwide cover for 60 days per year.
Like you say you're covered when it's attached to your car so our concern was something happening to it outsede the house or on a campsite
It added about €200 to our policy

Topic: Folding Camper insurance in Ireland
). I eventually got a quote based on it being a "touring caravan" which I'm not sure about? Anyone know if this is the same thing? The quote itself was ok but I'm not sure if we were on the same page at all.
