yes I think it must have been kitchen poles,  and yes to c&c club.

Just wondered if any dog campers out there could recommend dog friendly beaches so we know where to book for the best

Must admit I'm a bit worried we bend them again, can't think how we did it but there you go.

Just a little tip regarding preventing kitchen pole being bent !     Take a short bungy cord and after you pull the pole outside the trailer body, before pulling up the canvas, hook one end of the bungy to the bracket/hinge of the pole, take the other end, under tension, down the outside of the trailer, back under the kitchen unit hinge and hook it into the fitting inside the trailer next to the hinge.   This should stop the pole being blown back inside the line of the trailer body and getting bent.  I keep my bungy cord in the sink so it's handy when setting up.   I take no credit for this idea, just passing it on.
