Hi All

Just bought a used Cabanon Mercury and was wondering if you Cabanon owners would recommend purchasing the sun canopy? Also, any other essential purchases I should make before my first trip?

Since this is my first trailer tent, any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi

I have also just bought a second hand Mercury, like you thinking of buying the sun canopy, it looks nice but like you have seen no reviews if its worth buying, so sorry cannot help there.

A quick question you may be able to help with, the awning and groundsheet on ours was stored in the middle well leaving little room for storing anything else. Should this be packed on top of the beds (once folded) just before the cover goes on, leaving the middle well empty.

Any help appreciated

Daren

I don't have a cabanon Mercury but a Conway Classic which has the sun canopy with side walls and i'd say its definetely worth it :) Also when it comes to selling it one with a sun canopy will sell quicker than one without. We got ours 2nd hand and though there were plenty for sale without i wouldn't buy one that didn't have one. The ones for sale on ebay with a sun canopy sold for a lot more than the ones without.
To Daren - on our tt there isn't room to put the extensions or groundsheet on top of the beds but we do leave the main awning attatched so that is folded in, does that help answer your question or not?

Thanks for the reply, i think when i get a chance to put it up and have a look, i will try and keep the main awning on top which will give us more room

Thanks
