Hi Malkieron

I checked them out £125 for a week is cheap enough so may very well be getting in touch with them, unless I go crazy and buy to try

Hi Deelancs

We took a chance and bought a 1984 American Coleman folding camper off ebay,

I have to admit we are more than happy with it. OK its not an "all singing all dancing"  top range model, but for less than £400 its cosy, has plenty of space and tows like a dream. The main thing is as others have said, the beds are ready made, its up in 10 minutes, and has plenty of luggage space when towing. It lasted a season so more than paid for itself.

Have a look and see what's for sale  now that prices are low, thats the best way to "buy to try" and if you don't like it (which I doubt will be the case), put it back up for sale and make a profit.

We went to Earls court but for geographical reasons wanted to buy from Highbridge they matched the earls court deal on the spot no need to flutter your eyelashes!

we moved from a tent to a fc this year and its the best thing we ever done.  It is absolutely brilliant.  I can thoroughly recommend it.  We bought a 2004 Conway Cruiser and it more than meets our needs.  We also bought the awning and under bed skirts and it looks fab.

I luv my fc and can't wait until next season.

Happy Camping

We moved from a TT to a FC this year. It's so much less fuss pitching for short stays. We settled for the Pennine Pullman. We made a mistake buying a TT, it took too long to put up for the quick weekends. Too many pegs. I would advise you to try before you buy. In the end its your choice. Everyone has their favourites but in the end it's your decision and budget.

Good luck

Ian

A question or two about folding campers in winds/rain. How do they stand up to the elements? Do you have to re-waterproof them?
