Hi everyone. Wonder if i could pick the brains of you clever lot. We have recently become the proud owners of a conway countryman 1996 folding camper. It really is lovely, but has a few things we have found since putting it up fully.
Where the plastic/pvc area is on the roof above the cooker, there are round areas that are not holes, but look to ?have been caused by hot fat. They don't look melted, but have definately thinned the plastic and we are worried that it could let in rain or leak when on hols and they look very vulnerable. Is there a clear plastic that would cover these small areas?. Also, i noticed a pin-hole size hole in the roof canvas when the sun was shining when we put it up in the garden. It really is small. Would a suitable sealant do the trick?.
You may find that the small pin holes are all over the place. This maybe that the material is dry .When the material gets wet or damp,it swells and the pin holes disappear
