I am wanting to buy a winter cover for my Trigano 575TC folding camper. Does anyone know where I can get one? Is there a company that will make one to order? Would a Penine one fit or are they made specifically for their tents? I have winterised it as best I can but want to make sure!! I have heard that putting a cover on from B&Q will be no good as it may trap moisture ......... any horror stories?

The pathfinder cover which I think would be nearest is pretty tailored and fits perfectly covering the top and all of the body.At £130 you wouldn't want to risk it they are a breathable fabric.

I do not have a trailer tent but when I had a boat I made a wooden frame that kept the cheap cover I used clear I had no problem with condensation.

Keep on camping

Wellllllllllllllllllll the wife and I have a Trigano 575 LX and if we could be sure the Pathfinder cover would fit properly, we would purchase one ourselves. So if anyone does get one for their Trigano 575 let us know.

Oh yes, we've just popped out 575 in the garage for the winter. It is a nice dry garage so don't expect probs with condensation but would be grateful for any advice on combating condensation.

Cheers from Dave n Jan.

I bought one from Peninne for my Conway Crusader before they took them over, and all I had to do was measure the length , width and height of the unit and they made one to my dimensions, and cost no more than if it had been a standard cover of the same size region.

we have the 575TC and have been looking around as well.  If unable to get a winter cover we were considering the breathable car covers (eg Argos £35 - £40)

These would possibly give some cover the dimensions seem to be large enough to go over the top of the FC.

Anyone any thoughts on these?

Mike & Jen, how have you found your 575TC? How long have you had it? Have you had many problems with it? There are a few things that I wouldn't mind asking regarding a few bits and pieces if that is ok?

We bought it 4 weeks ago this weekend and have been out twice in it.  Haven't used the awning yet but plan to do that in half-term week.  Easy to set up, warm, plenty of storage and comy beds. Excellent fridge.

Minor problem initially was the front bed raised itself but tightening the clip solved that.  One of the plastic strap clips has broken but again super glue resolved the problem until we get a replacement. We did however tie the bed down too tight so it was our fault.

Last weekend we went to Kelvedon hatch (Essex) and it took 5 hours because of roadworks on M11 but then we were set up in 10 minutes with no effort - this was great. May be different when we try the awning. We are lucky we are able to set the unit up in our front garden so this helped.

Any answers we can give with our month long expertise of this unit we'd be happy to.
